Artists

RENATA FRIEDMAN (Performer / Producer) first performed The K of D in a staged reading at Seattle’s ACT in 2006. She has since produced and starred in the play in Pistol Cat’s 2008 production in Seattle, at the Key City Public Theatre in Port Townsend, WA, the 2010 New York International Fringe Festival, and as part of the FringeNYC Encore Series. She is thrilled to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Laura Schellhardt for so many years. Additional New York credits: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (New Victory Theater), The Importance of Being Earnest (Baruch Performing Arts Center), the Orchard Project, and an educational tour with the Lincoln Center Institute. Regional credits: The Cherry Sisters Revisited (Actors Theatre of Louisville & Humana), Eurydice, Vincent in Brixton (ACT, Seattle), Hamlet, Pharoah Serket and Jason and the Golden Fleece (Seattle Children’s Theatre), The Icicle Creek Theatre Festival, and a national repertory tour with the Aquila Theatre Company. Upcoming projects include The Female of the Species at ACT. Graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
